JOY SMITH
My name is Joy Smith and I am married to Michael, who is the Deputy Treasurer at NTCC. We have four children, six granddaughters and two grandsons.
I used to attend an Evangelical Church in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, where I was baptised on May 13th 1986.
I was brought up by wonderful Christian parents, but my faith weakened somewhat when my mother died suddenly at the age of 49. My father’s prayer, and those of others around me were steadfast and eventually I came to know the Lord as my Saviour in 1986. Since coming to Cyprus in 2005 I feel my faith has grown deeper and more meaningful.
I have been Church Secretary/Administrator for almost two years now and felt very honoured and humble when NTCC voted me as a deacon. I look forward, with God’s help, of fulfilling this position to my best abilities and working alongside some lovely Christians. I thank God for all He has done in mine & Michael’s life and trust Him for the future.
